Pay Advice Online
The Department provides a secure web site where staff can view and print current and previous pay advice slips. Current pay information is usually available from 9:00am on the Sunday before payday. The site also provides the option of being notified by email each pay when the new details are available on the web site. Pay details are not included in the email, only a link to the secure web site. Make sure you read and understand the security information below before accessing online pay details and/or selecting the notification option.
To access your pay advice details, select the link under 'Other Resources' below. You will be required to enter your Edumail User Name and Password when requested.
Important Security Information
When accessing secure web sites such as the online pay advice site, web browsers, including Microsoft Internet Explorer, provide the option to save the username and password so that they don’t need to be re-entered the next time the site is accessed. This can be useful where you are the sole user of a particular computer. However, if it is a shared computer or one that was previously used by someone else, and the new user accesses the same site and just accepts the saved details, access will occur using the saved user’s details.
The following process should remove the saved details from Microsoft Internet Explorer and prevent the problem recurring.
- Launch Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Click the Tools menu
- Click Internet Options on the drop-down menu
- When the dialog box opens, click the Content tab
- Under the heading of Personal Information, click the Auto Complete button.
- Where it is a shared computer (eg: in a staff room), click off the User names and passwords on forms check box
- To clear stored/saved passwords, click the Clear Forms and Clear Passwords buttons
- Click OK, then OK again to save the changes.
